Art Work loaded but no sounds

I have Kontakt working for the last year but when I stopped music for 3 months and came back my files wouldn't work.

I deleted them all and tried again. I am currently downloading them onto an exthernal hard drive.

My preferences are

• Downloads on my exthernal hard drive in a folder called NI Downloads
• Aplication in native instruments
• Contents in my exthernal hard drive

However it downloads the libraries but when I open kontakt the art work is there but no sounds are. It's a strange situation i've not seen anywhere else. Any help would be appreaicted.
