I have noticed that only third party previews will sound, when I am scrolling through about 24k patches. No Native Instruments patch will be heard. How can I fix this and what has caused this problem?
I play with S88 mk3 and MacBook M3 pro
Have you installed the NI Previews Library in Native Access?
Yes I have. That is so weird that even Previews Library is installed, I do no get previews
The original previews library only covers older products but I would have thought that includes Battery at least. These days previews are usually installed with the library, although for some third party products you need to do that manually but that shouldn’t be the case for NI stuff
thanks, but previews works properly with the third party products but NOT with native instruments its own products. I have a lot of them and do not want to install these again before I understand what the prproblem is. It had worked.
Maybe the path to the NI previews library is broken? Can you check the path in Native Access and that the files are actually there where it says they are and haven’t been moved
You could also try this trick:
I would like to have a clear overview of where the NI preview files should be saved. I have a NI product uninstalled., refreshed everything and installed it now on my internal drive. But no previews.
Scrolling though 12k patches I get some previews from Kontakt Factory lib.2, sunburst, Analog dreams, ethernal earth, -yanggin so lets say about 25%. But do I get back the previews of the rest of my products.
I have installed on a SSD external drive and on my internal disk. On both I have some products installed with working previews.
Any help is highly appreciated.
