I am programming Mainstage and have an instance of Komplete Kontrol (or Kontakt for that matter) inserted per patch/song. So I can switch between songs and everything is set. Trouble is, I have to be in Midi mode when I would prefer to be in the smart Kontrol mode (using latest Kontrol s49 keyboard). If I open the instance of Kontrol and click the little connect-to-S49key button it will open the graphics on the keyboard ok, so… there IS a way of sending a message to the keyboard to switch instance BUT what is that message if I want to program this in mainstage so it sets up automatically? I want to do this live without a mouse. Is it a secret that can't be documented? All I need to know is the command, and I will send it through the USB midi port in javascript if necessary. It makes so much sense If I can switch songs in Mainstage and also switch the user interface on the Kontrol keyboard! I am sure there will be a lot of mainstage users out there wanting that extra control. If someone has already done it let me know. Else I am hoping for technical support so I can program it into my patch change scripts. It would be soooo good!
