I made a song with Electric Sunburst Deluxe. The MIDI track will not play in Electric Storm Deluxe. It will only play, if I copy and paste the notes into a new track in the DAW song.
This is kind of confusing because we don't know what DAW you're dealing with. I'm assuming you have a track that has Electric Sunbirst Deluxe attached to it and you're replacing that library with Electric Storm Deluxe. The only thing that would cause a problem normally is your configuration of Electric Storm doesn't match the configuration you had with Sunburst so it's an invalid configuration. But without more detail of your process it's just a guess. This would happen if you have a preset selected for Electric Sunburst that doesn't exist in Electric Storm for example.
My DAW is Studio One. Sunburst works. Storm gives no sound, not even its own patterns. I loaded Storm instead of Sunburst. That's all I did.
@AvMan What about in Kontakt in standalone? If you load Electric Storm there, can you hear sound when you play? Can tyou "see" the sound, like in this screenshot?
Storm works in standalone and if I make a new DAW track in a song. It won't play a track I made with Sunburst. I don't have any other NI guitars to try it.
Ok I see, is it with the Melody or the patterns? Keyswitches and pattern note numbers may play a role here. Can you provide an example, with what preset was used with Sunburst and what preset you load with Storm? What MIDI notes were played? Maybe you can try and reproduce the issue in an empty project, zip it nad upload it here, this way I can try to find someone to try and reproduce the issue.
I'm not getting any sound in Storm. The Sunburst preset is more gain melody; Storm is Stone Break melody. Keyswitches C#1 - D#1 give me the melody settings, as they should. The pattern keyswitches give me patterns only sometimes. I've uploaded ed the Studio One file and the MIDI. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/f9cgigypmr2610yma2ksv/ANQtjKDFaZ4LVraxyx6mfsI?rlkey=4znqnyw8nbq1sy144vr2dauem&st=mdf848lf&dl=0
