Kontrol s61 Mk3 Hardware issues

My komplete kontrol s61 MK3 just shut down out of the blue and does not turn on. .

I have spent hours troubleshooting uninstalling software reinstalling nothing seems to work.

Customer support is very slow with good intentions so no pun intended.

however if you are planning to buy an keyboard s61 kontrol i would hold off. This thing has been nothing but buggy since i have purchased it and now it doesnt even turn on.

Super disappointed in the build quality of this unit.

I have been a NI consumer for years i love the sounds and instruments so i decided to upgrade. now i wish i didnt.

any tips are welcome

Do you have a USB-C PSU capable of PD attached to the keyboards power port ? Else then maybe try that.

Also then maybe try a different cable and make sure that the PSU is OK.

Anyway , it's a piece of electronics so of course it can break but while there has been more cases with issues related to USB-C chips sets then as far as I know then this forum has not seen that many cases where people complained over that the controller just died by itself..
