So I understand in the DAW mode on the Mark3, when you hold shift and nudge up on the 4D encoder, you can switch from Volume to Pan, and then nudge back down to get back to Volume.
However, I'm wondering if there's any other setting or work around to quickly do pan? The nudge thing actually really annoys me, because I forget what my last setting was (pan or volume?) and I end up messing my panning up when I meant to change volume.
Might seem like a small complaint, but it kinda gets in the way of the whole idea of being in the flow. The nudge takes me out of the flow.
Personally, I'd much rather the Shift button be used to switch from Volume to Pan, instead of the smaller increments feature. The smaller increments feature is okay, but using shift for Pan would be FAR more useful, in my opinion. Then I would ALWAYS know whether I'm changing Volume or Pan, and not have to guess - especially since the Highlight for when it is selected on Pan or Volume is so faint, its really easy to mess up things that you had just perfected!
I hope theres at least some sort of workaround for this and if not, I hope Shift for Pan gets implemented at least as an option.
This is maybe the #1 thing so far that has gotten on my nerves about the Mk3.
