Would love a "sleep mode" for Komplete Kontrol MK3 Keyboards

This is hardware. Firmware is as good as it gets.

This keyboard has been out for 18 months now. It would be stunning for them to suddenly realize “Hey we can “program” the backlight - let’s turn that on” at this point in time.

The MK1 allowed you to actually turn off the lightguide LEDs wif you were not using them,. something many people actually want as theyc an be distracting. From the MK2 onward this was not possible so it's less of adding features and more of taking away useful ones. Not sure if that was addressed in the MK3 tho, never was in the MK2

I think you can shut off the lightguide LEDs on the MK3. I'll check the next time I fire it up.

The MK2 I know you can't, it was one of the leading complaints for years because the MK1 you could and for some reason NI like to remove features for no apparent reason.

yes, you're right - it's in the Hardware Settings. The following can be set there:

• LED Brightness (includes the Light Guide LEDs and all other LEDs): Can effectively go all the way to LEDs Off.
• Default Color
• Light Guide On/Off
• Display Brightness: Does not go all the way to Off, but just to very dim.
