Why doesn't my S61 Keyboard work when I open Komplete Kontrol as a standalone or in DAW?

The functionality doesn't work, (Browse, CC knobs, Scales, ARP) when I open Komplete Kontrol as a standalone or in Logic. When I open Maschine however, all the functionality of the keyboard works perfectly, just like it used to do when I opened Komplete Kontrol previously. It's NOT a MIDI issue, the appropriate boxes are checked in preferences. Please help if you know what to do about this issue.

Thanks.

So you have an MK1 keyboard (the original one) and Sonoma?

The MK1 is now discontinued and mac being mac, it typically means things don't work if the developer doesn't update things. Possibly the drivers no longer work on newer mac systems. I know on Windows it will still work for some time, but macOS is not as forgiving once developers throw it on the floor…

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm just curious as to why the S61 is fully functional when I open Maschine as a standalone. All the things that it's supposed to do, it does in this instance.

That I cannot say, not even sure my prediction is correct, just going based on a hunch but could also be related to the NIHardware service not working correctly.

Just another thought, are you using the latest v3.x of KK? That does NOT support the MK1 keyboard nor does the drivers it installs. You have to manually install KK V2 for the MK1 keyboard from here:
