Trouble with pitch bend touchstrip on my M32 I just got

in Komplete Kontrol

I have tried everything and consulted chatGPT and of course that was no help and so i came here to see if anybody had a similar issue, and I see that customer care had helped somebody with this before. in the standalone application the person had access to touch strip tab but whenever I pull mine up, I don't see that. There is no option for a touch strip. Can somebody please help me because I'm getting very frustrated trying to figure this out and nothing is working.

    On the M32, the pitch bend and modwheel are touch strips and they are not editable so they are not present in the MIDI assignment part of the Komplete Kontrol standalone application. On some other devices, these are wheels and there is a touchstrip you can edit.

    Is this happening in Komplete Kontrol in standalone? What's your operating system? What DAW are you using?

    If you only plug the M32, without any music program and monitor the MIDI when playing with the pitch bend touchstrip, is there any activity?

    so I tried the monitoring MIDI app and it recognizes it but still doesn't work with Komplete Kontrol in Fl Studio, which I use. I also use MAC OS if that helps. Whenever I pull up Komplete Kontrol in standalone, I can't get audio so I'm not sure how to test it there. Weirdly enough, the pitchbend and mod wheel work with FL Studio stock plugins only if I map them, which is fine but whenever I pull up Komplete Kontrol as the DAW plugin, it doesn't work and I can't find anything to map it either. Please help me.

    Well, if it's working in standalone or in another DAW than FL Studio, the problem comes from settings in FL Studio. Please check Image Line resource on how to reset MIDI preferences or reset preferences altogether.

    Could you tell me how to get audio when trying out Komplete Kontrol in standalone? I'm not quite sure.

    You just need to select an audio driver, probably the same as for your DAW.
