S61mkII - only blue lights. Can't see articulations, etc on keyboard

I bought my S61mkII mostly so I could use the different colored lights to see articulation switches and other modifiers for my VSTs.

This feature works as expected so long as I'm using Komplete Control and launching VSTs from there. I think Maschine works the same too, but I've never learned that program.

But, if I'm putting the same plugs directly into a channel in Logic all a get are blue lights. No other colors, zones, etc. Same thing if I'm using Komplete in stand-alone.

I'm pretty sure I'm missing something really simple. Thoughts?

Nope that’s how it works, Komplete Kontrol is the interface between plugins and the keyboard
