[Feature request]KK hardware controller with soft buttons?

Has anybody else found that the clicky buttons on the Komplete Kontrol controllers are not particularly nice to press? Having used various other control surfaces and keybaords, I much prefer the 'soft' buttons. Good examples of controllers that have what I mean are Presonus faderport range and the Novation SL MKII. Moreover I would think that having an audible click would be more of an annoyance for users recording with microphones than any useful feedback the click can provide.

If there are any posts where people are requesting features could someone point me to one, and if not would anyone else also appreciate soft buttons? They look great, just get rid of the click. It also feels cheap.

I actually prefer the haptic feedback from clicky buttons. The problem with "soft" buttons I find is not knowing if the function associated with it has triggered without checking on the screen first.

Since NI have never really taken on ANY user feedback to improve Komplete Kontrol, I highly doubt they will take on feedback and redesign the keyboard to include soft buttons, especially for something that is subjective (personally I prefer a physical click as it is more accurate, unless it is a tap tempo or similar control).

I would prefer having buttons that can actually be assigned to params in a NKS mapping to control binary functions.

We have this ironic situation now where the MIDI templates editor is actually much more powerful than the NKS editing and control tools.

I just use the factory set ups, would be amazing if someone like you could tech us some tips and tricks with the MIDI templates editor, I am generally happy with the NKS set up, and the controls I have of my DAW with it, but maybe I don't know some amazing uses with the templates editor.

What I meant is with the MIDI templates you can assign buttons and knobs to functions, and you can also insert template pages at any point in a template, and rearrange template pages.

The NKS editor doesn't even include buttons so even if the plugin has a button you can only assign it to a knob which is daft, and there is no way to rearrange template pages or insert new ones.

ah got you!! I wish I could have like 3 buttons that works as "alt, command and control" of the Mac keyboard ahahha but this is a different kind of keyboard so I can't complain, but my S61 takes the whole desk, I have a mouse on the right side on top of it, several times I just needed to do a quick editing on the fly and wished for that options haha

do you know if I can achieve it with the templates? just asking it is something very specific and probably useless for most people, but never know, maybe there is a way!
