Unfortunatelly I cant send midi PC messages to my rig7 VST3 instance. Is there an alternative way to change between presets? For example with some special CC messages?

Thanks

Dear Jeremy, many Thanks for your answer!

My problem is, that prev/next preset change is not good for me, I have to access directly my presets. Is there any way to do that? For some reason PC message does not get through to my VST3 rig7 instance, I dont really know why…

Unfortunately Guitar Rig 7 does not support MIDI Program Change.

    Dear Jeremy,

How is it possible? Fast Program Change has essencial importance. Full Program Change in the superior VST Host (like Daw) with one or more VST plugins is very very slow. This way is no-go…

    thanks

@lacc47w This is a limitation of the VST3 format, not by us but by the developers behind the new format, Steinberg. The VST3 format does not natively support MIDI Program Change messages. Steinberg's VST3 SDK moved away from the traditional MIDI event handling used in VST2 and instead introduced a more abstract event system called Event Bus, which primarily supports Note Events, Controller Events, and Parameter Changes.

Thank you for the answer Jeremy

The question is, how can I send "Note Event", "Controller Event" or "Parameter Change", on this "Event Bus" stuff, that Rig 7 changes to the specific preset I have choosen?

    Thanks in advance

Unfortunately there is nothing to do on your side. These are only technicalities from the VST3 format.
