Please tell me this is not a manual task.
I have hundreds of songs with many traks (as I'm sure most users do).
Many plugins no longer work in 6 so the change is needed.
How can I convert all my instances and presets?
You can only do it automatically if your DAW supports it : Notes about Auto-Migration of Kontakt Versions in DAW Projects
Also very important : Kontakt 7/8 versions is not VST/VST2 , they are only 64 bit and only VST3, AU, AAX
(also I do not know if DAWs that can do this automatically will load a VST3 in places where a VST2 version were used ?)
