Buttons instead of keys for instrument settings

Let me ask you a question. I think it would make more sense if the keys in the Lightguide, which are usually marked red and do not play sounds but change instrument settings, were moved from the keyboard to extra buttons or knobs on the keyboards.
Especially if you use Komplete on hardware that doesn't have a light guide, you really only want to be able to play the instrument with the keys, i.e. create sounds. You don't want to (accidentally) hit a key that changes the way the instrument is played or creates other articulations.
I would find it practical if all these settings could be moved from the keys to extra buttons, which would perhaps be added to the keyboards in a Mk4 update.
