Display Issue with Native Instruments Plugins in Cubase Pro 8 (Kontakt 7/8, Raum)

I am experiencing a display issue when using Kontakt 7, Kontakt 8, and Raum inside Cubase Pro 8 on Windows 10. When I open the plugin window, only the top-left corner of the interface is visible, and I cannot resize or interact with it properly.

System Details:

  • Cubase Version: Cubase Pro 8
  • OS: Windows 10
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1050 (latest drivers installed)
  • Screen Resolution: 1920x1080 (Dell monitor)
  • Connection Type: HDMI / DisplayPort
  • Issue Occurs With: Kontakt 7, Kontakt 8, Raum (possibly other NI plugins)

Could anybody provide any guidance on how to resolve this issue? Is this a known compatibility problem between Native Instruments plugins and older versions of Cubase?

    it might be down to Cubase not handling modern VSTs correctly. You could try a demo of C14 to see if you still get the problem.

    Unrelated - don’t forget the Steinberg elicensing servers are being turned off in May, so if you plan to upgrade any elicenser based software you need to do it before then.
