What has changed in Kontakt / Logic / MAC OS for this to happen?

Hello I bought a Mac mini M2 last summer and never updated it (running on Ventrua 13.5) and was using Logic Pro 10.5… I had kontakt and all my downloads and content saved to an external WDD PASSPORT HDD; I was using Kontakt 6 and everything was great without slow loading and I don't remember having to do any tricks or batch resaving etc to get stuff running !

anyway I recently backed up all my music projects on multiple HDDs and erased my Mac mini and erased one of my WDD PASSPORT 1tb HDDs; just so I can start fresh. I had many files and applications I didn't need anymore … so anyway my Mac redownloaded the latest version of VENTURA (13.7.3) and then I went on the App Store and I had to download Logic 11.0.1 to work on my new up and running OS… I downloaded native access and purchased Kontakt 8 crossgrade and downloaded it! Also I set the content and downloads to be saved on my external HDD in a "users shared" folder and did everything properly as I did before. Anyway I went ahead and installed one of my many instruments I started with Session Horns Pro.

After it installed I went into Logic, loaded Kontakt 8 and selected Session Horns Pro; It was barely loading! it could only load individual sounds and not the Keyswitch or Performance Libraries! even after loading the individual sounds like "alt sax" It was slow and glitchy !!!

I did some research and loaded Kontakt 8 on my Mac by itself and noticed under the file tab there was a new option that wasn't there when I went into the file tab earlier when kontakt was open on Logic "Batch Resave" I clicked on this and selected the main Folder for the instrument in my Users Shared folder on my external HDD "Session Horns Pro" -

it did some loading and after 15 minutes or so it stopped. I went into Logic - opened Kontakt 8 - Selected Session Horns Pro and it took about 45 seconds to load and it was much faster!!! I then cancelled it and re loaded it again and it took about 15 seconds!!!

now every time I open this instrument it loads as quick as before (when I was running Logic Pro 10.5, Kontakt 6 and Ventura 13.5) I now have to do batch resave for all my instruments running through Kontakt! but I didn't have to do this process before??? what has changed? I need to know because it threw me off for days and I need to know more about this type of thing for when there is the next update and everything changes again.
