Balance knob keeps resetting in Komplete Kontrol

When I press play after stop, or try to render the sound in Komplete Kontrol, the first knob (Balance between 2 sounds) keeps resetting. The rest of the knobs doesnt do this. I use FL Studio and a Kontrol S49N controller. It also happens when I try to bounce a song.

I've already tried to check midi learn in the stand-alone version but there is nothing assigned.

How can I fix this?

Not an FL user but in Ableton it's a requirement to not set the DAW port as an input, if everything is setup as per the instructions here:

Then i'm out of ideas on this one.

By chance do you have the MIDI port for the keyboard labelled "DAW" selected as a MIDI input? Be sure to not select the DAW port for midi input, it is only used for control surface settings and can cause issues like this if you select it as a general MIDI input. Just a guess.
