i have tried making sure it has the right output nothing seems to work
You're not giving us much information to go on… for example: how exactly are you using Battery? Stand-alone or as a plugin inside a DAW?
Solving issues like these is best done by ruling out possible causes for problems. For example… if you don't get any sound when used in a DAW the first step would be to make sure the DAW is actually capable of generating sound. When used stand alone you need to make sure that you loaded a kit and that you're using the right audio drivers.
