Working with Session Guitarist in Avid ProTools
Anyone tried to use Session Guitarist sounds in Avid's Protools?
I have multiple Session Guitarist sounds in my Library. When I record a sound into a Protools track it sounds great, however, when I play it back all the preset changes I played in don't play back as recorded. The only way I can get the sound to stay the same as when I recorded is if that track is record enabled. So if I take the Session Guitar track out of record enable mode so I can record a different track the Session Guitar track plays back as an empty strum sound instead of the full sound with all reverb, preset changes, effects I played in. Anyone know if there is a MIDI setting in Protools or the guitar sound itself that would fix this ?

Are all instruments set to the same MIDI channel or Omni? That could explain this, please try to set one MIDI channel per instance, maybe this will help: Configuring your MIDI Keyboard / Controller in Kontakt
