Midi Ch + Groups
In Kontakt 7 it appears to be a default feature when getting to MIDI Ch 12 it assigns a + Groups which causes all channels to play based on that channel inputs.
Is there a way to bypass this and assign it strictly to that channel alone (in this case channel 12)?
In the world of MIDI it seems counter-productive to limit the number of single channels to 11. Why would NI do this?

It's a bug in Kontakt which has been around for at least a year. No-one seems to have been interested in fixing it. It will never be fixed in Kontakt 7 which is "no longer supported". I don't know if it's present in Kontakt 8.
It's currently the 4th "Popular topic" at the top of the forum page,
Kontakt plays every loaded instrument at the same time.
There is a fix there but you can't do it if the instrument is locked to editing.

I guess I better move on to 8 to see what happens. Pretty disappointing. Thanks.

I am in the midst of that frustration - and I can tell you that it has not been fixed in Kontakt 8. Why Native Instruments feels no need to address this is beyond reason. I now have to open Kontakt 6 (since the fix doesn't work in 7, either) and reload the instruments/reverbs/panning/volume…
End of the world problem? Not at all. Pain in the rear? Yes. Kontakt, please do us all a favor and resolve this issue.
Incidentally, my Mojo Horns won't open in versions 7 or 8. Not sure why I should've 'upgraded' only to lose important features…
