Studio drummer-Exporting randomised midi

Hi, I have programmed a midi drum session in on cubase using studio drummer and have added randomisation to timing, velocity etc using the built in function and it sound great.

I would like to export the midi track in cubase with those randomisations baked in to send to my mix and master engineer to add his own samples and wondered how to do that,if possible?

So when he imports the midi file the note placements and velocities will match what i was hearing when playing back.

Many thanks

Pete

    Hello,

if you trigger the kit from cubase the tightness; swing and velocity setting does nothing, it only effects the internal patterns. And after setting it as you like you drag and drop the pattern and the settings are then in the midi file you drag and in and out of studio drummer. The play button next to groove on the top right, there is a cross where you can drag midi files from.

Hi, im not using the internal grooves in Sttudio drummer, i have programmed in my own patterns.

In the kit 'options', not groove options, i have adjusted vol, velocity, timing, pitch, tone which affects the plaback making it sound realistic. I need to be able to export my midi track in cubase with these changes if possible.

    Thanks

Ok have you tried drag and drop, if it works with the midi files native provides it should work with your own too.

P.S. i tried it with an self made midi file via the browser within the instrument and it works like i said with drag and drop.
