Trouble with "Century Strings by 8Dio"

I was told to save the Instruments to my external Disc. Which I did. But now each Instrument loads so very slow, that I´m not interessted in using them anymore. Does anybody know a workaround?

Cheers Joe

8Dio specializes in very detailed and authentic captures of instruments and large orchestras. That makes for very realistic recordings and performances, but the tradeoff is how long it takes to load the libraries. You can have some effect on this situation by making sure you have ample memory and processing power in your computer along with using solid state drives for storage of the 8Dio instrument libraries.

I'm on a fairly recent Windows 10 computer with an I7-6700 processor with 16 gb of memory. I have a total of 10 Tb of SSD drives where I keep my libraries stored so I can get reasonable load times. The big 8Dio libraries are still somewhat slow to load, but at least they're bearable.

The good news is that many of these 8Dio libraries are in the process of being ported over to 8Dio's partner Soundpaint which has developed a much more efficient storage and loading system and you can get some credit from them toward that same library, if it's been ported over, toward the purchase of the Soundcheck one. Unfortunately Century Strings hasn't been brought over there yet, but they might offer something of a discount were you to buy Majestic Strings which they have brought over.
