Anyone have Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol working in Linux ???

This is a serious question not meant for philosophical opinions. I;m a windows 10 user and , like many, am upset with all the Microsoft shenanigans.

I have converted an old laptop into Ubuntu Studio as a test. I use Bitwig and Studio One. There are Linux apps for both. There are Linux scripts for both of my controllers. My audio interface works in Linux. I can install vst's from other companies

BUT: Other than effects, most of my vst's are Kontakt instruments (unfortunately) and I use the old version of Komplete Kontrol. Checking online, I haven't been able to find a way to get this NI stuff working. This is VERY unfortunate.

Has anyone found a reliable way?

Since no NI software is supported under Linux whatsoever - exactly no one will be able to get it working.

Also not sure what you mean by Microsoft "shenanigans" either.

If you expand on that a bit more - maybe we can help you get back to a supported platform where you stuff will just work.

    hi there

i'm using linux mint 21.2 xfce, reaper, wine and yabridge in order to use win vsts (e.g. kontakt 5.5.0) absolutely stable.

probably the biggest challenge is the activation…

    good luck
