Hi, I am on Logic 11.1/Kontakt7. Normally, Midi controller 7 will change the master volume of any Kontakt instruments - I am wondering, is there a way of disabling this behavior globally? Thank you - Uli

    Hello,

as far as I remember it's under the wrench button, something like standard controllers, you should be able to disable them.

Hi yes, under instrument options I can disable that (for instruments that allow editing), but only on a per-patch basis, not globally. Maybe I filter them out in the Logic environment somehow.

    best

Yes then that would be the best option. I don't know if that helps but maybe it does:

If cc#7 controls the master volume slider, that is how the instrument has been programmed. You can change the programming in the way you described even if Edit Mode is not available - the "gear wheel" gives you "Instrument Options". Save the instrument (with a different name) after you have changed it.

Unlikely there's any way to globally change how instruments have been programmed.
