Sustain and expression pedal issue Komplete Kontrol MK2 S61

I have a Komplete Kontrol MK2 S61. My sustain and expression pedals do not work since last week.

I checked all kind of internet suggestions, including advice of ChatGPT and Perplexity, and at the end it looks like that the cause is somewhere in the hardware, I have a 2nd keyboard and here my pedals work well.

The firmware is the latest version 0.5.9.

Do you have an advice?

Oh ok, tyhat does look like a hardware issue then. Please check the MIDI ouptut of the keyboard when using the pedals, with no music software open: How to Monitor the Output of a MIDI Controller

If there's no information at all when you press the pedals, try with another computer. If behaviour is the same then it's definitely a hardware issue and you need to get in touch with our hardware department: https://bit.ly/NI_support_Hardware

Midi monitor responds with note 42.

Some additional observations

• Midi setup, Pedal tab in Komplete Kontrol Tip setup
  • Mode: Switch
  • Type: Control Change
  • MIDI Channel: 1
  • Number: 64
  • Mode: Gate
  • Off value: 0
  • On value: 127
• In Komplete Kontrol, the sustain does not work for the instruments
• In Mainstage, latest version, the sustain works with the standard Mainstage instruments, with 3rd party instruments the sustain does not work.

What about RIng?

You mean that when you press the sustain pedal, you get note messages? Or do you mean CC42?

Can you check all MIDI assignments with keyboard connected or disconnected assigned to this MIDI note or CC42?
