Disabled tracks with Komplete Kontrol & K7 freeze Cubase after upgrading to K8

So I have a couple of templates in Cubase which heavily use both Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt 7. I use the disabled track template method, so there's a whole bunch of these loaded instantly, but disabled.

I just upgraded to K8, while also updating Komplete Kontrol (was still on Native Access 1). Now when I try and enable any of these tracks that has Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt 7 in it, it freezes Cubase and I have to force quit. Thus completely rendering all my templates useless.

Kontakt 7 is still installed, and loads normally on a new track if I try it, as does 8.

Needless to say I'm not happy at all. Any ideas?
