Free Guitar Rig 7 and GarageBand 10.4.11

Hi.

Is there a limitation with the free version, in that it doesn't appear in the plug ins when I add a guitar software instrument? I can't play any instrument, sadly, note. :(

The separate application is available however. I assume if the Audio Units aren't available w/ the free version, I could export my garageband track and import it into the separate app.

I'm completely new to this so this may be a repeat question.

    Aha.

    From further research it appears that it's only accessible from an audio track.

    The round trip process I mentioned in the question is now something I can play around with to get it back into garageband for further work.
