Action strings latency problem

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with Action Strings 2 and would appreciate your help. Although the tempo matches perfectly with the project metronome, Action Strings 2 consistently falls behind the click while playing. It feels as though the tempo is generally slower. When I shift the entire MIDI channel back by a 32nd note, it synchronizes with the project. However, this workaround is not practical for me. Is there a more efficient solution to this problem? (in Komplete kontrol)

Here's the translation you requested:

"I’m also attaching an example audio file. Additionally, I’m using a Pro Tools setup and my computer is an M2 Ultra with 128GB of RAM. Generally, the project isn’t very heavy. I’ve also tried different buffer sizes, but unfortunately, there was no change."

Thank you in advance!

Could you recreate a tiny Pro Tools project that recreates the issue? This way we can try and reproduce the issue and pass it around to devs, etc…You can zip it and post it here.

    Hello again,

I would like to explain the issue: I used two different VSTs, one is Percussionist, and the other is Strings Pro. As far as I understand, the MIDI program doesn’t start playing from the triggered moment but rather begins from the very start. If the measure count is an even number, it plays correctly, but if the measure count is an odd number, like 11, the loop plays incorrectly.

In addition to this, another issue is that the synchronization suddenly shifts. While it starts playing correctly, after some time, it begins to play out of sync. I couldn’t understand or resolve the problem. Thank you in advance for your help.

The project I shared is in a 6/8 time signature. Could this be what’s preventing it from working properly? But these programs couldn’t have been designed just for use in a 4/4 time signature, right?
