In kontakt 8, How to play Rhythm and melody same time?

I am struggling to figure out how to play rhythm and melody in kontakt at the same time. I want to change chords playing rhythm while at the same time be able to play melodies. Is it even possible? Like it's in traditional keyboards where you can start a rhythm, can change chords and play any melody over it?

Is there a way around it? Can anyone please help. I'm using kontrol s63 to achieve this but so far not successful.

The specifics will be different depending on which guitar library you're dealing with, but generally there are two different presets. One for rhythm and one for melody. You would need to use a DAW and put an instance of the rhythm library on one track and and instance of the melody library on another track them record them individually.
