I have a new s88 mk3 controller and cannot install it. I have read through all sorts of forums but unfortunately to no avail. As soon as I plug in the keyboard and want to update, the error message appears (see photo). Even after updating the keyboard manually, I cannot carry out the update and the message something went wrong remains on the display. I have already tried different cables and ports. Nothing helps! Has anyone had the same problem?

I would contact support.
I would also try:
Ensuring the keyboard has adequate power. Are you going USB-C to USB-A? If so, use the auxiliary power port with a standard USB-C wall charger to help boost power supply.
Plugging in via a powered USB-C hub, rather than direct.
Updating to the latest available version of Windows released for 10 or 11 since September (this includes a critical driver for MK3).
