All of my NI plugins suddenly stopped working, cannot open projects. Help.

As per title.

All working fine, until out of nowhere, they all cause fatal crashes in Cubase, or "VST3 cannot be found"/fatal crash in Ableton.

The standalones also just open a red X with no error message.

I have checked and triple checked all VST locations and they are as normal. I have reinstalled them all. I have updated Windows.

Running Battery 4 and Reaktor 6 as administrator seemed to fix the standalone issue. I still cannot open Massive X plugin though.

Cubase throws up a system32/kernelbase.dll error message, and also adds these plugins to the blocklist when reopening Cubase.

All my other VSTS (EW, Arturia, Korg etc) all still work fine.

I cannot open any projects that are using any of these NI plugins, so am looking to get this resolved asap as I have some important projects using them. Thanks in advance.

    Ok after many hours of testing, it appears it was definitely something to do with permissions - I believe something has gone funky on my user account (Windows 11)

    I went to test the plugins in FL studio trial, and FL threw up an error about permissions in a user data folder, so that was the clue I needed.

    I created a new admin user account, and the plugins seem to now work on that. I've had a few strange happenings to do with permissions since upgrading to Windows 11.
