Is there any way to make the s61 mk3 send note off midi messages instead of note on's with 0 vel?

I've recently moved from a 90's old MIDI keyboard (KORG X5D) to a s61 mk3, I'm mostly happy with the change.

But I've noticed the keyboard uses the velocity 0 note on messages instead of note off events. Is there any way to make it send note off's with corresponding velocities? Like with my old KORG MIDI keyboard…?

regards

    note:

I've seen a post in this discussion section with a person from NI saying the mk3 supports note release velocities, but they were talking about MIDI 2.0, being the note off velocities part of the standard (I guess MIDI 1.0) MIDI protocol, i wonder if a firmware update could add this, or something…
