I am running on the latest greatest windows 11. My cpu is a ryzen 9950x. This keyboard was never easy to upgrade the firmware, but this time is the worst.

They keyboard states:

! Looks like something went wrong

Please rerun the update on your computer

I have done this, but the KSMK3 updater now states that my installed firmware is 0.0.1 (it was 1.7.? )

The updater thinks it is running and states "Please stand by while your Kontrol S MK3 is being updated and do not disconnect it from the USB." The little ball is next to that statement is going round and round and has been for well over an HOUR.

The keyboard usually has the blue lights flashing on the keys when the keys when you are updating the firmware, but now they are all off.

I unplugged all other usb devices including the my audient id4 and only have my keyboard and mouse usb attached. I have also rebooted the computer and keyboard at least a dozen times. Is this kontrol s88 dead?

Very weird, but I just let the thing run and it took about 3 hours to complete the update. I have no idea why, but firmware updates are just a nightmare on the kontrol s88 mk3.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

could be dead, in this case contact support might be the best option:

Ok wow - but good to know that once broken the firmware update takes that long, if another customer has the same problem. Normally an update is made in 5 minutes or something like that (my last update on my MK3 was that long)
