Acoustic Sunburst - how to change a pattern from maj7 to major

I'm a fairly new user on Acoustic Sunburst. I have a song where the chord progression is fairly simple (E, D, A) - all major chords. I'm using Acoustic Sunburst to create a finger picking style that matches my song. One of the patterns I really like is: Head In The Clouds. When I play this pattern with my MIDI keyboard and press the E key, it plays a Emaj7, the same is true for D and A. It appears the pattern is in maj7. I would like for it to be in E, D, A major. How do I accomplish this? If I change the voicing to "As Played", it play an Emmy (no 3) that sounds awful.

I have seen the same thing in other patters that are minor. I don't know hoe to play them in major. I'm sure I'm missing something?

Any advice?

i tried wit electric sunburst and there it works as far as i can tell, will try also with acoustic sunburst and report back.

P S. I tried that too and all was working fine for me, you also see the chords on the top left of the instrument and they sounded fine to my ears. Later I can maybe upload a short sample of o use the chords you mentioned and we can compare.

Yes, if I change the voice to "As Played" and play the chords, the chords sound really hollow, not anything like the pattern itself, which is strange. I have tired everything I can think of to have this pattern play in a major chord. Its like it was recorded in a minor chord and can not change to major.
