Third-party Komplete Kontrol/Kontakt plugin in Ableton Live's Drum Rack

I use David Oliver's Drum Kit with Komplete Kontrol/Kontakt in Ableton Live's Drum Rack to play that on the Ableton Push3 controller. Unfortunately, David Oliver's Drum Kit only offers two toms. I use two additional toms from the Ableton Live sample folder. However, I would like to add the toms from NI Studio Drummer (I own Komplete Ultimate 14), for example, to David Oliver's Drum Kit so that I can play them in the Drum Rack on the Push3 controller. How should I proceed?

    Put the DO Drum Kit VST and Kontakt with Studio Drummer VST on two pads that you will NOT use to play the instruments. Use "External Instrument" device on the all pads you ARE going to play the drums on to route the midi to either the one or the other instrument. You will probably tinker a bit with MIDI setup in the VST's and in the drum rack to be sure each pad sends the correct MIDI to the plugin.
