Edit bank ( TAGS ) in Kontakt 8 ?

Hello,

I just updated to Kontakt 8. I use Kontakt for 95% of my productions.

I was wondering why I couldn't edit my sound banks, especially the tags. I can understand the name of the company but for the rest...

Honestly, it's a bit of a mess because in version 6 you could modify everything. Now I have Piano twice, String twice. As if they were two different categories.

What is the way to modify the sound banks?

Thanks

From what I’ve gathered, you can only edit the tags for "User Presets", which are stored in:

    Mac OS X: Macintosh HD/Users/<User Name>/Documents/Native Instruments/User
    Content/
    Windows: C:\Users<User Name>\My Documents\Native Instruments\User Content

If it's not in that folder, even if it's a custom instrument or preset that you made, you can't edit the tags.

In this image, I've moved the "Sway" library into the User Presets, added a comment, then put it back where it originally was. This isn't a realistic solution, and if it's an official library any updates will undo anything you did here, but I wanted to show that this is how it appears to work.
