How can I use the USB output for kontakt and the DIN outputfor midi templates/hw synths

I want to do "computer stuff" via the USB connection (can this also be done through midi?) and have my midi templates use the din connection to play hardware, is this possible?

And to do splits with kontakt on one split and a midi template for hardware on the other side is what I want to achieve.

I feel S61 MK3 is missing a choice in the midi templates to select output (USB/DIN) like there is on most synths and sequencers.

And it seems like as long as the USB cable is connected it completely ignores the DIN connection?

The manual explains how to use the DIN MIDI sockets when connected to the computer….

When I click shift + settings/midi and have a usb connection to my PC it does not send anything out the DIN channel (but it doest continue using the USB channel for whatever is there, like kontakt.. which is why I ask, hoping I missed something, like an option to set midi mode = DIN port.

If I disconnect the USB cable it switches to midi.. naturally, similar behaviour as the MK1 :\

We are working on allowing this to happen without unplugging in an upcoming update

Aware of the workaround, but always more nice to be able to do this without having to run midiox :-)
Having the option to have "output port" configured based on template would be sweet.
