Confused about Guitar Rig Pro versions and meanings

I'm fairly new to NI and have a question about versions that I can't get an answer to. When I add Guitar Rig Pro to a track in Logic I have choices:

1-Guitar Rig Pro 7 FX, 2-Guitar Rig Pro 7 MFX, 3-Guitar Rig Pro 5 FX, 4-Guitar Rig Pro 5 MFX.

Q: I'm not sure what the difference between FX and MFX is or what it means.

Q: Do I remove version 5 if I have version 7? Thanks

Q: I'm not sure what the difference between FX and MFX is or what it means.

MFX is Midi Controlled Effect and is used when you want to control some parameters with a MIDI controller. FX is the standard way.

    Q: Do I remove version 5 if I have version 7?

Depends on if you (still) need or want version 5. If not, simply uninstall.

Thanks Monochrome. Unless there's a reason not to, I suppose I should just use MFX in case I want that feature one day.
