Komplete Kontrol crashes Cubase 13 every time on the second project

I have tried many ways to recreate this problem. I have a 100% "success".

Here is what happens:
1. I start/load a project with a Komplete Kontrol instrument (one or many)
2. I close that project - Cubase "unloads" the instruments from that project.
3. I load another project containing Komplete Kontrol and Cubase crashes (if no Komplete Kontrol in project it works.)
4. Next time I start Cubase I get the "safe box" dialog box saying "The application was terminated with an error while executing the following file: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Komplete Kontrol.vst3

And yes, I have reset Komplete Kontrol both by removing folders and removing registry folders. And yes, I have all programs updated to the latest version. And yes, I have sent the files to Steinberg, but I doubt they are the ones causing the problem.

This is clearly an issue with Komplete Kontrol. I can still load my projects, but It is quite a pain to have to reload Cubase all the time. I have contacted support. I just wanted to see if anyone else has this issue and perhaps getting NIs attention.

Regards

And, reinstalling Komplete Kontrol doesn't help…

this is the new v3 yes?

it’s interesting you’re seeing this as I’ve been experiencing a “second project” bug for years where the second projects automation system locks up and undo and auto save breaks. I always presumed it was a Cubase problem but maybe it’s komplete kontrol v2 issue, and you’re just seeing the latest iteration of it.

Yes, it has 3 in the version number which it has been for a while. I always update, so yes.

Strange bug you are finding. I don't know if that related, I have never had that problem myself. But who knows?

    Regards.
