Thanks for your reply. I did download the free player and I'm a 360 member. I've been learning the tools they are cool. I have some feed back for the chords

Hi @D-One , apologies for the delayed response. Regarding your last point, the first two Tools were initially designed to serve as an inspirational kickstart, with the Playbox case significantly influencing some design decisions. In particular, the arrangement of chords and phrases follows a harmonic progression rather than strictly adhering to the harmonic grades of a scale. This provides ready-to-use content that can be useful in certain contexts but may lack synergy between the two modules as you correctly observed.
Recognizing that some users may want more control over this, we introduced an "Advanced" mode accessible through the settings. This mode offers a different experience, including a remote octave for phrase and chord selection via keyswitches, and extends the selected entries across the keyboard, enabling modal or chromatic performance. By selecting the same phrase and chord in each tool, the Advanced mode might enhance the affinity between the two modules.
Here is a video demonstrating a quick example of this functionality:
Additionally, there's a list of phrases and chords that share the same mapping, identifiable by their matching names:

Hi! How can I open up K8 in classic view by default? It seems no matter what I do, it always displays the new overview with the smaller library thumbnails on the left. I am used to the classic view and find it most intuitive.
Edit: Nevermind, found the "set as default" option in the menu :D

Question: If we start creating Leap user content, will NI setup a forum to share that, and do NI see that as something cool to support?

Agree.
One of the missed opportunities with Machine was not having an official editor to easily design and create kits. Both Leap and next Maschine software should have better user editing support, adding covers, hero graphics etcs.

I like the new Tool Chords, but I want to just play along to a pattern once I get something that I like. So a pattern play button should turn off your key chords so that you can play along.

Fantastic suggestion. Will see what we can do here!

This is still an IF rather than a WHEN. Could you send me a PM (this thread is closed)?
I'd be interested to hear more about how you use those features.

This is a great question!
Kontakt could expose this, but doesn't yet do so.
Whilst we plan to do something here, realistically it won't happen in 2024 - but rather be a focus in 2025.
Tagging @Tim_NI as he and I were just chatting about this yesterday. 🤭
