Guitar Rig 7 Pro-Black Icon progam not loading
I have a brand new PC with Windows 11 Pro : hardware is: -
AMD 7-7800x3D cpu, RTX 4070 Supper gpu, 32MB memory. M.2 drives
I have re-installed Ultimate 14 which all works ok apart from Guitar Rig 7 Pro where I just get a black Icon with the lettersGR within the icon , click on Icon and nothing happens or loads up I have re-installed Guitar Rig 6 Pro and that works fine.
In Albelton Live 12, Guitar 6 shows up, though Guitar Rig 7 doesn't show up?
Win 11 comes with DirectX 12 preinstalled.
Does anybody have any ideas or solutions I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Hi, Jeremy thanks for picking this up and yes I have managed to resolve the issue eventually.
The issue stemmed from having a new PC and rather than re-installing all the instruments again I transferred my M.2 drive from my old PC where I had all my NI stuff into the new PC thinking all I had to do was reinstall NI Access and set the appropriate pathway and away it would go, and for all the NI instruments and Guitar Rig 6 this worked including Ableton picking them up as well, however, Guitar 7 it just would not run.
So after a lot of messing around, I decided in the end to uninstall NI completely and start again, so I made sure every link in all the directories was deleted including all those in the Windows common folder etc, all references in the Windows Registry, turned the PC fully off, restarted the PC and then reinstalled NI Access and installed Guitar Pro 7 first off, clicked GR pro icon and away it went, morally of the story is don't try and take the easy way out, just take the hit in time and reinstall it all properly from the beginning. So thanks for replying, I have now reinstalled everything else as well that I need for NI plus Abelton has picked them along with Cubase so all's good for now thanks again.

Icon is normal - that is what mine looks like.
Check this for other requirements: (especially the Direct 3D element)
Guitar Rig Opens with a Black Window – Native Instruments (native-instruments.com)

Ok thanks for the reply, I thought it should have looked like the download icon.
I will have another look into the 3D element, though with a new RTX 4070 super video card and Win 11, I assume that would have been good enough, either way, I'll have another look into the Direct 3D element.👍️

Quick update found an old photo of my old PC screen and yes as the other person commented the Icon is black and just with letters GR in the icon so that is normal and it worked perfectly on an old Win 10 PC, however still can’t get the program to run on my new Win 11 PC as a stand alone program nor can I see it in the drop down list in Abelton 12 live, however GUITAR RIG 6.4 works perfectly in all cases on new PC, so still stumped as to why the GR 7 pro will not run??? thanks in anticipation of any ideas.
