Since Update of Komplete Kontrol 3.3.1 i have issues with Kontakt 7 based Instruments.

Loading the instuments in Kontrol is extremly slow even with fastM2 SSD and 80GB Ram. Loading quits with a dump and writing Logs. Afterwards the insturment is loaded and works.

Loading the instruments direct in standalone Kontakt7 is fast and has no problems.

    What's your operating system?

Can you give more details regarding this: "Loading quits with a dump and writing Logs. Afterwards the insturment is loaded and works."

Can you post screenshots? What logs and where?

Can you give us an example of a given instrument so we can reproduce the issue? Like what NI instrument, time to open in Komplete Kontrol & time to open in K7.

    Windows 10 Home, 22H2, 11gen i9-11900K 3,5ghz, 80gb ram, 3x2TB Samsung M2 SSD

It is always the first load of Komplete Kontrol and of the instrument very slow.
Loading Komplete Kontrol 2 Minutes 5 Sekonds
Loading after Starting Komplete Kontrol Analog Dreams 80s Folder Preset 1 Minute 26 Seconds
Loading Analog Dreams with Kontakt <2 Sek

The last Dump was within Kontakt from Komplete Kontrol

it is not always crashing. I seems like a kind of timeout error. The behaviour (very long loads) seems equal with all kind of Kontakt based instruments.

Can you reset the database for Kontakt 7 and Komplete Kontrol?

    Reinitialize the Kontakt Database

    1. Click the Windows start button at the bottom left of your screen.
    2. Type "%localappdata%" and click the option that appears.
    3. Navigate to the Native Instruments folder.
    4. Then delete the following folders: Kontakt 7 & Komplete Kontrol
    5. Start Kontakt in standalone mode (not in your DAW).

    Does that fix the issue?

No that does not help. Instead i had to rebuild the Library this costs me more than 2 hour lifetimet and now each time i start komplete kontrol standalone needs more than 5 minutes everytime i start it.

NI ist scanning again and again the NI Plugins like Reaktor, Battery, Guitar Rig

After it finished loading i start e.g. Cloud Supply it loads in about 2 min.

    Again with a dump

After the first plugin was loaded changing the instrument or loading other presets works nearly fast.

Cubase Pro 13 scans these plugins in about 5 seconds Version:

    13.0.41

    OS Version: Windows 10 10.0.19045

    Total Plug-ins: 1145
    Effect Plug-ins: 693
    Instrument Plug-ins: 452
    VST3 Plug-ins: 959
    VST2 Plug-ins: 183
    Other Plug-ins: 3
    Blacklisted Plug-ins: 2
    Reactivated Plug-ins: 0

You probably already know this; but periodically on Windows you need to run terminal as admin and do

    SFC /scannow

    this repairs corrupted files/folders

That does not help. The files and folders work otherwise the instruments would not work correctly in kontakt. The Instruments are slow in komplete kontrol and only there. And the dumps are here since 3.3.1 I had never dumps with the earlier versions. There are no problems found with SFC /scannow

Have you run Task Manager when you're getting these long load times with Komplete Kontrol? That's how I discovered the Antimalware process from Windows Defender which was dominating the processing time during initial loads, particularly when using a DAW (Ableton Live). I just disable that process and went from a over 2 minute load to a 10 to 15 second load.

@Headtuned I've contacted you by email, my colleagues will need to have a deeper look in your system.
