Kontrol MK3 firmware update issue

I've just updated the new firmware for my Kontrol mk3 S61. It installed but when I boot up the keyboard it keeps reverting back to 'get the latest update - download the update at ni.de/kontrol-update'. I've tried the updater again but it says I have the latest firmware installed. I've followed all the instructions on the main site but nothings working.

Any suggestions most welcome.

Thanks.

    It sounds like the same thing that happened to me. It took a while to get it figured out, but with the help of @Michael_NI who sent me a fairly involved link to a process I followed, I got it fixed.

    Make sure you start with a fresh download of the installation program.

    @Matthew_NI

    Looks like another person that had the same weird situation I ran into that was fixed by @Michael_NI process. This should probably be forwarded to the development group to figure out how this sort of thing happens. Apparently something they didn't see during testing for some odd reason.

    We were referring to @Bunter (the OP) which in his case worked. Not sure if it's even relevant to your situation.
