Using Kontakt 7 vs Komplete Kontrol with S49mk3

Hi, having watched various tutorials I got the impression that it is now possible to control Kontakt 7 directly with the S49mk3, without the need to open it within Komplete Kontrol plug-in. However, from my experience so far this is not the case. For example, instruments with the X and Y axis, such as Mysteria, behave differently when used in Kontakt 7 and in Komplete Kontrol - by differently I mean that you CANNOT record automation of the XY axis in Kontakt 7; meanwhile - you can if you use it within Komplete Kontrol. Also, I have noticed that Kontakt 7 is much more buggy than Komplete Kontrol, e.g. "leaving" a track with an instance of Kontakt 7 and returning to it often "disconnects" the S49mk3 and puts in default mode, to the point where it never returns to the control mode and I literally have to turn the S49mk3 off and on again. My question is - am I doing something wrong or do you have similar experience? My setup: RME interface, Mac Studio M2 Max + external SSDs with all the libraries, Ableton Live Suite 12 (latest), the S49mk3, Komplete 14 Ultimate. Cheers, Wojtek
