Missing Libraries in Free Kontakt Player 6 & 7
For some reason certain Libraries are missing from my Free Kontakt Playry 6 &7 (Electric Sunburst Session Guitarist, Picked Acoustic Session Guitarist and Irish Harp)
I looked in my Native Access Installed Window and all 3 are there. Have used these 3 instruments many times in the past few years and now suddenly they're missing. Any suggestions on how to get these libraries back into my Free Kontakt Player 6 & 7?

Have you updated these libraries recently. Some libraris updates have broken compatibility with Kontakt 6. We provided links to previous versions in this thread: Previous versions of recently updated Kontakt libraries / compatibility with K6 older libraries

Thanks Jeremy I appreciate it!! Will give the links you provided a shot. Just curious, do you happen to have a link for the Irish Harp for mac? I didn't see it on the list you provided…

Hi Jeremy,
Both the links for the Electric Sunburst and Picked Acoustic installers downloaded perfectly but unfortunately when I tried to open them onto my mac I got this error massage for each one. (Please see attached photo) How do I work around this issue so that I can download the installers onto my mac?

Irish Harp minimum version is 7.7.2. There's no compatible version for K6.

You should right click the installer and choose open.

Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for the tip I appreciate it. After right clicking the installer both updates downloaded perfectly. Went to Native Access and completed the download process. (Please see attached photo) Unfortunately when I reopened both Kontakt Player 6 & 7 in Cubase after shutting down then restarting my computer, neither of the missing libraries were there. (Please see attached photos)
I just noticed that a few other libraries like Lofi Glow and Twenty Five are also missing. After doing some research on line I saw that a few people where suggesting something involving "transferring/replacing text information" within the file folders to retrieve missing Kontakt libraries…any suggestions?

@Maubry The installers that are linked are separate installers for previous versions. Once installed you should only opne Native Access to activate the products but you should not update the libraries there or you'll need to do the process all over again.
Also you are using an outdated version of Native Access. I see on your profile that you're on Catalina, you should find a version for 10.15 here: Native Access Legacy Installers for Older Operating Systems

Oh ok gotcha. So should I first uninstall the libraries for both the Electric Sunburst as well as the Picked Acoustic, then use the previous link you sent me to re-download the libraries before or after downloading the Legacy Installer? And just to be clear, once I re-install the libraries for both instruments, don't "update" them in the NA Legacy Installer right?

It's not absolutely necessary to uninstall but it can't hurt: How to Uninstall Native Instruments Software from a Mac Computer
And after downgrading you shouldn't update the libraries again.

Hey Jeremy,
Just wanted to let you know that the links you sent last Friday worked perfectly!! All 4 missing libraries are now back up and running within my Kontakt 6 and 7 players and they are all re-registered within my new Native Access account. Can't thank you enough for all your help, I really appreciate it!!
Thanks,
Michael

You also need to get off Native Access v1 and get the most current version going.
Native Access v1 is retired and will give you all sorts of oddball issues.
Install v 3.1.3 and all will be back to normal.

Oh ok. So even though I'm running an older operating system (mac Catalina 10.15.7) the new Native Access 3.1.3 won't cause my various libraries that were missing to go missing again? I believe I was running a more recent version of Native Access last week (Not sure what version it was but it had blue and white lettering on the app instead of the one I just downloaded that has black and white lettering) when 4 or my libraries suddenly disappeared from my Free Kontakt 6 & 7 players.

Ah - I see.
Catalina is no longer supported at all for any NI apps and while the old NA v1 will work for that OS - it is scheduled for permanent retirement/shutoff in Feb 2025.
A bigger (more current) issue is that many of the current apps/libraries etc that come down via Native Access v3.1.3 - have long since been removed from NA v1.
NI provides no support for anything Catalina - all of it's current Mac-based software is support is MacOS v12 (and higher).
You will need consider a full OS upgrade (to a supported version) soon or your problems will begin to multiple fast with no recourse.

Oh ok...what a bummer!! Well thanks for the info I definitely appreciate it. So in your opinion would it be better for me at this point to continue running V1 on Catalina or should I go ahead and take a chance and download V3.1.3 and hope that whatever caused my libraries to suddenly disappear last week won't happen again?
