Kontakt 7 and Protool 2024.6 issues

Hello,

Is anyone having issues with the latest vers of Kontakt 7 and Protools 2024.6 Ultimate? It is unusable…glitvhy / CPU spikes. It runs fine in Logic Pro.

    What do you mean by "glitchy"? Could you give us more details perhaps? Is it when loading the plug-in? Loading an instrument? Which instruments? What are the symptoms of that glitchiness? What's your OS?

    My OS is Monterey 12.7.4. I load a library into Kontakt 7 inside Protools Ultimate 2024.6 and am getting severe CPU spikes at all buffer settings.

    I loaded Kontakt 6 into Protools in Rosetta mode and everything seems fine. But…I need to be in native mode due to other software / plugins I am using.

    Anyone having similar issues? I really need to get this resolved. I am having no other issues with other VIs in my setup. I have a Mac Studio Max with 64gB RAM and have my main libraries stored on a super fast nvme external drive with read speeds of over 3000mB/sec, so I know it's not the retrieval / read speed

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    @Starfirlds Sorry, I was out of office for a couple of weeks, hopefully you found a solution to that issue. If not, what is the format of the external hard drive? It should be APFS, as stated here: Notes on Hard Drive Formats on Mac Computers

    Also make sure that both Logic and Kontakt 7 have full disk access: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS
