Power Issues with Sustain Pedal on S88 MK3

First, I have to let it be known that I really, really do not like the fact that for a keyboard I paid for that's not even a car old, that there seems to be no way to directly submit my support query through the NI support site. This is the antithesis, in my mind, of the support ticket system that should result in individual user support, as opposed to having the use the community as the only way to get it. If I'm wrong on this, do let me know. Overwise, this is really frustrating in not finding the expected option.

With that bit off my chest, I have ran into an issue. A few days ago, I noticed that there was no power going to my S88 MK3 keyboard. I went tot he product support page and gone through all of the steps to attempt to resolve it. Then for some reason, I unplugged the sustain pedal that was attached to the keyboard. When I pressed the power button, the keyboard comes back to life. Then, as I plugged in the sustain pedal, the keyboard's power went off for a few seconds, then rebooted. Now, if I were to touch the pedal or attempt to move it slightly, again power would go out, then the keyboard reboots.

I do not think this should be happening, and I'd appreciate some guidance. I do not see anything physical on the pedal, which itself is not powered, that outright should cause such occurrences to happen.
