Maschine Instruments in Komplete Kontrol

I've searched around different threads and tried various troubleshooting (uninstalling and reinstalling things, clearing my databases and reloading), so now I'm just going to ask for clarification. I own Maschine MK2 and Komplete Kontrol A25. My Maschine hardware is broken so I use the software for instruments. Recently I've had to remove some instruments and plugins from my computer and somehow I've messed up my NI setup.

I could be wrong, but I swear my Maschine software instruments and presets were showing up in Komplete Kontrol before, and now no matter what I do I cannot see or access them without using the Maschine software itself. If someone could confirm that either I'm crazy and that was never true, or is there something I need to do to have all my Maschine instruments appear under Komplete Kontrol? I would like my "komplete" instrument library!

Maschine will not be listed in Komplete Kontrol and it was never listed there. At the end of the day Maschine and Komplete Kontrol are kind of the same, they both handle all your NI products in one place.

You will also not find Maschine kits, sounds or projects, all these only live in Maschine.

What is exactly missing in Komplete Kontrol? Instruments, libraries, plug-ins? Which ones sepcifically?

For example, you won't be able to load Maschine kits in Komplete Kontrol, either from the Maschine Factory Library or from an expansion. What exactly shows in Maschine that doesn't show in Komplete Kontrol?

Nothing from Maschine appears in Komplete Kontrol. It is not even listed in my available products. I am aware I cannot use kits through Komplete Kontrol since they are a Maschine software specific item, but Maschine factory library comes with plenty of software instruments besides.

None of these instruments appear in my Komplete Kontrol. They are not kits, they are just software instruments.

Here is my Komplete Kontrol where Maschine is not even listed, and none of those instruments appear in my presets.

All right, thanks for answering

Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me why one should have to cycle between 2 products with virtually identical browsers and many identical functionalities to make use of all my Native Instruments instruments that function identically, but hey I’m not the software developer. Thanks for your time
