Kontakt 5 stuck in demo mode

Good afternoon,

I purchased and installed Kontakt on my m2 Mac. Everything was going good for a few months, until I was trying add a library in Kontakt 5, but now my Kontakt thinks it's in demo mode. I tried to reinstall it in native access but no luck. Try hitting the button that says activate on each instrument inside of Kontakt but it does nothing. How do I fix?

    Hello 86the87,

    Please note that Kontakt 5 is not supported officially on M1 machines. We have a workaround that you can attempt to apply, however please note that we do not offer support for this workaround.

    1. Go to the following location: 
      Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences
    2. Delete the "com.native-instruments.Kontakt 5.plist" file

    3. Restart your computer
    4. Download, install and open NA 3.2.3 via this link:

    5. Install Kontakt 5

    Hi Mert, I have exactly the same problem like "86the87" describes. I am also using a M2 Mac like him. Everything I try to open within Kontakt 5 runs in demo mode, even though I bought all the products. I tried your recommended method, but it still went into demo mode afterwards. I use the kontakt 5 audio units plugin in ableton live. I hope you might have another suggestion for me. I just wanted to prepair a live gig and this is really kinda bothering me now. thanks!

    Hello robertoeser, sorry for the late answer as I was not working at that moment.

    Unfortunately as the Kontakt 5 is an old product which is not compatible with the current operating systems, the only workaround that I can advise is the same with the one above.

    Another and the best way to solve this issue would be updating the Kontakt version to a compatible one so you can make use of your products as you wish. Here is the link that you can use while updating your Kontakt to the newer version, in case you would like to purchase:
