Guitar Rig standalone output to Mac speakers, using Evo 8 audio interface
ok, have looked around, checked settings, etc but cannot get guitar sound output to my Mac speakers via Evo 8 audio interface in Guitar Rig 7 in standalone mode.
It works fine when I bring up Guitar Rig as an AU plugin in Logic Pro, just not within Guitar Rig standalone mode. Seems like a straightforward clue but I do not get it. Ring any bells? Thanks ….

Logic can have different audio interface for input and output so that’s why it works there.
GR7 standalone can only use one audio interface for input and output, so either Evo or internal audio (speakers).
To have it do what you want, you need to create aggregate audio device from Evo and internal audio and choose that aggregate audio device in GR7 standalone. Then you can input via Evo and output via internal speakers as they now form one, virtual audio interface.

Thanks for your response, Maciej, I will travel down that road and see if I can get it set up
